About our firm

For twenty-three years, PASCOM has been integrating engineered speech and audio-visual systems for a broad spectrum of projects. We develop complete systems for our clientele and provide design services to architects and consulting engineers.  

PASCOM specializes in engineered systems for: Houses of Worship, Theaters for the Performing Arts, Courtrooms, Auditoriums, and Athletic Facilities.  We also develop customized multimedia systems for residential applications.

We incorporate our industry’s most sophisticated technologies in order to deliver the highest performance. Our automated and adaptive systems simulate the presence of an onsite operator. These systems are simple to activate and are built for true reliability. PASCOM uses component architecture that is programmable, upgradeable, and easily expandable.  System components that are visible are carefully selected and placed to blend aesthetically with surrounding décor.  

Through comprehensive electro-acoustic measurement and extensive diagnostics, PASCOM’S commissioning process assures optimized performance for every project.

Each system installation is performed by our licensed and insured professionals, in compliance with local and national electrical codes. 

Our History

Our history in audio dates back to the 1920s when my grandfather Salvatore Scandone, a native of New Haven, CT, formed the M & S Sound Company.  Salvatore, an early pioneer in sound contracting, built and installed the first audio systems used in New Haven.  Among his earliest projects were the lecture halls and auditoriums at Yale University and the numerous churches throughout New Haven and its surrounding towns. 

Established and incorporated in 1984 by my father, Peter A. Scandone, Sr., PASCOM began offering engineered audio systems throughout Connecticut.

Combining the strengths of experience, electro-acoustic engineering, and dedicated customer support has cultivated a strong following that allows PASCOM to provide systems and support throughout New England, New York, and Florida.    

Today, some 85 years since my grandfather began, my father and I follow in his footsteps and continue his tradition.
